Sara obtained her M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from National University of Singapore (NUS) and before that received a B.Sc. in Chemistry at University of Yangon in Myanmar. She started her career by working as an Analytical Chemist at two companies, Miyoshi Precision Limited and Atotech S.E.A Pte Ltd. Since 2015 she has been working as a research associate in SCELSE. Her research focuses on Anammox technology and on enhanced biological phosphorus removal, both applied to wastewater treatment. Sara supports researchers using analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, IC, and TOC, etc. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and swimming.
