Evelina graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a BSc (Honors) in Biological Sciences. She is currently working as a Research Assistant to help develop a prototype bioelectrochemical E. coli detector. Other projects focus on steps to separate and identify different variables that affect the growth of facultative bacteria (with a focus on E. coli and E. faecalis) in low-volume electrochemical reactors. When not at work, she can usually be found diving or reminiscing about food, a popular pastime in Singapore.
